
Colleen is a partner at Daniel Dennis & Company LLP, where she specializes in providing audit and consulting services to clients in the affordable housing, charter school and nonprofit sectors.
Colleen works extensively within the affordable housing industry. Colleen has significant experience with the reporting and tax requirements of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC), Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Credits and Bond Financing.
Colleen also works extensively with charter schools. Colleen’s expertise includes providing audit services to charter schools under Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance, as well as providing consulting services for start-up charter schools, close-out charter schools and financing options inclusive of New Market Tax Credits and Qualified Zone Academy Bonds (QZAB).
In the nonprofit sector, Colleen provides audit services to organizations in the community and economic development and human and social services fields whose audits are performed under Government Auditing Standards, Uniform Guidance as well as the Massachusetts Uniform Financial Report (UFR) regulations.
When away from the office Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and enjoys running. She completed the Boston Marathon four times.
