The Board of Elementary and Secondary Education voted today to extend the filing date for Charter Schools that require a Single Audit in accordance with Government Auditing Standards to January 1, 2026.
The extension is a result of the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) fiscal year 2025 compliance supplement currently in draft form. Due to the delay in finalizing the OMB’s fiscal year 2025 compliance supplement, the audit reports for these effected schools are unable to be completed and finalized.
